what some of our clients had to say about us: |
| Dear Mr. Alford,
We want to let you know the success of our 2002 fund raising efforts,
our Melwood Dinner and Auction and annual Golf Outing. You helped
make it possible to raise nearly $57,000 targeted especially for
Kamp A*Kom Plish, Melwood's Summer Camp for kids in Nanjemoy, Maryland.
We want to thank you for sponsoring two tee signs at our golf outing.
Your generous contribution is greatly appreciated and we hope you
will put us on your calendar for next year. In 2003, our fundraiser
to benefit Kamp A*Kom Plish will be sponsored again by Greater Waldorf
Jaycees. Our Melwood Dinner and Auction will be held on Saturday,
April 26, at the Jaycee Community Center, in Waldorf. Our 23rd Annual
Golf Outing is scheduled for Friday, June 6, at the White Plains
Golf Course, in White Plains. Between now and then , if you have
an intrest in joining our planning committee, have something you'd
like to donate to either event, or know a friend or colleague to
add to our invitation mailing list, please call Linda Neiser, 301
599-4542. Once again, on behalf of Melwood and the people we serve,
thank you very much for giving so generously. We appreciate your
support and want you to know that we certainly could not have done
it without you.
Sincerely,
Melwood

Dear Mr. Bob Alford,
The Agape Chapter of Blacks in Government extends to you a heartfelt
thank you for your monetary donation in support of our second annual
fundraiser. Its because of people like you that we are claiming victory
for the children in the Baltimore community. You are miles away from
us, yet you have the foresight and wisdom to know that what happens
with children here in Baltimore can have far reaching consequences
that will effect all of our futures. We appreciate your special show
of concern and please know that your kindness will long be remembered
by us all. You are helping us to build futures one brick at a time.
You have solidly demonstrated that you stand in the gap with us for
our community's youth. God bless you and thank you again for your
support.
Sincerely,
President, Regina Lewis-Gordon ----------------------------------
